Acropolis & Plaka

Central Athens: the Acropolis, Plaka, Monastiraki and the Ancient Agora – our walking base.

Airport to city center

ATH sits east of the city, roughly 35–45 minutes to the center by taxi or Metro.

Day trips: Delphi & Cape Sounion

Delphi is northwest of Athens; Cape Sounion is at the southern tip of Attica.

Saronic islands & Piraeus

Ferries leave Piraeus for Aegina and Hydra for our island day trip.

These are starting choices – any map can be swapped for a different place (for example the island we pick for the extension, or our lodging once it is booked).
